Jake Cuenca: A Good Bad Boy

Jake Cuenca, or Juan Carlos Cuenca, was born and raised in San Jose, California,
on December 30, 1987. He is of pure Filipino descent. He is a commercial and print
model as well as a TV and movie actor, who became famous in Click, GMA’s
youth-oriented show. He then moved to ABS-CBN once his contract with the former
expired. Later on, he became a member of Star Magic, ABS-CBN’s talent center,
under the tutelage of Direk Johnny Manahan, or Mr. M. He’s also studying
in an exclusive school for boys called PAREF Southridge. Jake has two other siblings.

His first taste of stardom began when he was 9 years old. A talent scout got
interested with his strong mestizo looks and decided to included him among the
roster of models of Cosmo Modeling Agency. He then later appeared in a number
of endorsements, both in print and TV, for popular brands like Globe Telecom,
Coke, and Safeguard.

Jay Manalo is one of the award-winning Filipino actors of the country. He was
born on January 30, 1973, in Saigon, Vietnam. He grew up in Tondo, Manila.



His first film was an action movie called Brat Pack during 1994 with co-star Gary
Estrada. He eventually played the lead role in Paracale Gang in 1996 followed
by a film named Urban Rangers. On the same year, he exchanged his action roles

(My Geeky Boyfriend), "Iskul Bukol" (School is Tough) and many more).
